Missions: Fulfilling the Great Commission

As the New Testament church was about to be established on the day of Pentacost, it is no small thing that the last words that Jesus Christ spoke to his followers was, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

Likewise, Bay City Baptist Church has also been commissioned to take the glorious news of the Gospel to the ends of the earth.  We endeavor to do this through our Faith Promise Missions Giving.  Through it, we support missionaries and church planters throughout the world.  By the faithful giving of God's people, the Gospel is being taken to:

  • The Hmong in Green Bay
  • Kewaunee, Wisconsin
  • Rhinelander, Wisconsin
  • Argentina
  • Bolivia
  • Brazil
  • Cambodia
  • Canada
  • France
  • India
  • Italy
  • Kenya
  • Romania
  • South Africa
  • Spain
  • Thailand
  • The Ivory Coast
  • The Middle East
  • Uruguay

Whether it is across the street, or across the ocean, the saving power of the Gospel needs to be preached to all people.  Our heart's desire, and the LORD's heart desire, is that we reach as many people as possible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We urge our people to be a part of our Faith Promise Missions Giving program, so that we can do just that.
