Bay City Baptist will be hosting a summer program for kids on July 25th-July 28th. Activities will start at 6:30 p.m. and go until 8:00 p.m. The program is available for children ages 4 years old all the way to 6th grade. Kids can look forward to hearing some Bible stories, doing crafts, face painting, games, and prizes. It is going to be a great opportunity for our kids to hear from God's word and have some fun. Please contact the church office if you have any questions. |

This past Sunday our church enjoyed its annual neighborhood picnic. This event is one that everyone looks forward to all year round. On Sunday after our morning services, the rain stopped just in time for a wonderful day outdoors enjoyed with family and friends. The picnic was a great time to get to know many of our neighbors in Green Bay. After an appropriate picnic feast of hot dogs and all the fixings, salads, and delicious desserts, we enjoyed some family friendly fun in the sun. Some of the activities of the day included some inflatable slides and fun houses, carnival games, snow cones, a cake walk, and paintball. The afternoon ended hearing some music from the Steve Petitt Evangelistic Team and getting to hear a message from Evangelist Petitt. |

Today our church youth group is heading home from over a week spent ministering in New York City. The youth group has been partnering with Faith Baptist Church in Corona, Queens. The team has been helping the church out with work projects, promoting an upcoming Vacation Bible School, and running a Soccer Tournament with a goal of outreach with the gospel. The team has been having daily Bible studies to encourage their own walks with God. Overall it has been both a profitable and tiring trip. You can find out more about the trip and see pictures by visiting http://nycity2010.blogspot.com/.

Fifteen people from our church boarded a plane for Romania on Friday June 4th. The group has been spending most of their time remodeling and working on dormitories for a Bible Seminary there. It is exciting to hear of the progress they are making for the seminary and how God is using them. The group will be returning on a long flight home this Saturday June 12th. Please pray for their continued strength as they strive to finish the project before leaving for home. You can read more about the trip at http://2010romania.blogspot.com/.

In case it is not on your calendar already, just remember that this Sunday is Mother's Day. We look forward to celebrating moms in our service on Sunday. Mother's play such a crucial role in our lives, and it is a blessing to be able to set aside a little time out of the year to remind our moms of why they are special to us. It is also a great day as moms to think about how we can be the kind of mothers that God would have us to be. Proverbs 31:28 says "Her children arise up, and call her blessed: her husband also, and he praiseth her." |

Our annual Child Dedication Sunday is May 2 this year. A child dedication is a public and personal commitment by parents to raise their children for the glory of God. Through this simple presentation, you announce before God and others that you are willing to take on the grave responsibility of orienting your child toward his or her Creator. Please contact the office by Wednesday, April 28 if you are interested in dedicating your child or children to the Lord.

We are very excited to be starting our annual mission's conference tomorrow. The mission's conference will kick off with a men's prayer breakfast on Saturday morning. We will have special services on Sunday morning and evening, and Monday through Wednesday evenings. The ladies will have a luncheon on Monday afternoon where several of the missionary wives will be speaking. It is going to be a wonderful time of renewing our burden for missions and finding out how we can participate and pray more for our missionaries. Please contact the church office for more information. |

Easter Sunday is always a very special day for our church family. We enjoy a wonderful day of celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and SaviorJesus Christ. It is also a day of outreach into our community. After a wonderful service of preaching, drama, and music, we enjoy a delicious family style meal together. Marriage relationships take work. We all could use a little extra help. Bay City Family Life Ministry is already well underway in the planning of our very own couples retreat! It will be more than just a few preaching sessions and a dinner. Come expecting to be challenged and changed. Expect to come home thinking differently about your marriage.
