Scrip Fundraiser

How it Works

Scrip is the best way for you to financially support BCBS. Here's how it works: You purchase gift certificates from the school office for area merchants, then use those certificates at the store just like cash. Each certificate is worth its full amount. Since we have purchased the certificates at a discount, the school makes money. Each store or restaurant gives the school a percentage. To see those percentages, you can get a Scrip Order Form from the school office or open one in Adobe Acrobat below.

How to Get the Certificates

Your order form must be in the school office by 9 a.m. each Monday. Your certificates will be available for pickup after 1 p.m. Wednesday. We also keep some Scrip on hand. Check with the school office for availability.

Your Responsibility as a Family

Each school family is asked to raise $125 per semester in Scrip profit. (You are not required to participate, but your tuition bill will be raised $250 if you choose not to.) After you reach your $125 profit per semester, you may apply 50 percent of the profits directly to your tuition bill. The other 50 percent goes to the parent organization, which helps the school with miscellaneous purchases. If you have any questions, please call the school office.

After opening the file, you may use the print function to print it to your printer.

Student Handbook

Behavioral expectations are an important part of an organized, effective school environment.  Bay City's student handbook is designed to promote a positive learning environment, encourage godly actions, and build personal disciplines that students will need for life.  Click to view a copy of the BCBS Student Handbook.

Financial Aid Application

The school board strives to keep tuition affordable, but we understand that sometimes it is hard to make ends meet . Families who are struggling to keep up with tuition payments can apply for financial assistance.  Bay City Baptist School offers need-based financial aid to families who demonstrate a need in accordance with guidelines established by BCBS and its school board. The school reserves the right when making close decisions to give preference to students based on church membership, the ability of a student to succeed at BCBS, and family philosophies. Financial assistance is typically not given to families in their first year of enrollment.  Click to download a copy of the BCBS Financial Aid Application.

Graduation Requirements and Honors Program

The goal of Bay City Baptist School is to prepare each student to fulfill God’s calling for his life.  In order to accomplish this goal, Bay City Baptist graduation standards align themselves with the application requirements considered necessary for the most selective universities in Wisconsin.  Click to view a copy of the BCBS Graduation Requirements

Service Requirements

Academic preparation is important, but is only part of a student’s preparation for life.  Requiring students to be involved in service activities will give them the opportunity to experience the blessing of giving to others and will help them to develop the discipline of service.  Students in grades k-8 will be asked to participate at apporpriate levels in school sponsored service activities.  Students in grades 9-12 are required to earn a minimum of four service credits per year in order to graduate from Bay City Baptist School. Click to view a full explanation of the BCBS Service Credit Requirement.   If you would like to request approval for an activity, please fill out this service credit request for approval and turn it in to the office.
