There's no question about it, children are important at Bay City Baptist Church. We believe they can and should play a major part in the future of our church and of other churches around the world.

A church nursery is essential so that parents can participate in church services without distraction. Screened volunteers serve you and your children through age 3 during all services so you can enjoy the worship and preaching aspects of our ministry. For safety we make sure that every child is signed in and out by a family member.
 

Yes, even the smallest children can learn the Bible. Every Sunday morning, our teachers share Bible-based lessons so our children will understand what God wants them to know about Him. Age-specific classes are available for children of every age.

 

At about 11 o'clock during the Sunday morning service, we dismiss the children to junior church where they receive age-specific teaching in a service relevant to their age. (We do not have Junior Church during the evening service.)

 

Our AWANA clubs, for three-year-olds through grade six, meet every Wednesday night in order to learn about Jesus Christ and to memorize Scripture. Each exciting, action-packed night includes games, Bible memory, and a message from the Bible. The children are encouraged to have fun and memorize verses – you won’t want your children to miss it.

 

Just as a delicate seedling must be nurtured in the safety of a warm greenhouse, so children must be prepared for the world in a safe, Christian atmosphere. Bay City Baptist School is a well-rounded, traditional-classroom school providing a solid education in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
