A young, fragile plant needs the quiet shelter of a warm greenhouse. Inside that safe place conditions are ideal — there's no heavy rain or wind. Do we put the tender sprout there to make it weak? No. We put young plants in greenhouses  because they are weak — too weak to be exposed to the elements. And when they're strong, we'll plant them  outside.

Our children are the same. They're young and impressionable so they need the nurturing that parents and Christian educators can provide until they're ready to be exposed to the elements of the world. Your children need a safe environment with caring teachers and a solid education.

Bay City Baptist School is a ministry of Bay City Baptist Church. The purpose of our church is to glorify God through the teaching of the Bible and minister to people. In order to carry those same ideas into our school, we have Bible class every day except Wednesdays, when we have chapel.

Our school would be aimless without God's everlasting biblical  principles. BCBS was created in 1978 to educate our children and the children of others interested in a truly Christian education.

Bob Jones University Press of Greenville, SC, is among the largest and most experienced publishers of Christian school textbooks. BJU produces some of the best materials on the market, and recent updates of its curriculums have only made them better. That's why we've chosen BJU curriculums for most of our classes. In addition, we'll continue to use some other excellent materials from reputable companies.

Our teachers are committed to two very important tasks. Their first task is to help children learn and apply godly principles. Their second is to give students an education that will equip them for the future.

Our teachers are special. First, they really love the students. Second, they want God to lead their lives and their students' lives. We believe that's a powerful combination. You must be certain the adults who influence your children are there for the right reasons.
